During a Warner Bros. Discovery meeting, co-chairs James Gunn and Peter Safran teased an upcoming DCU ‘Bible’ for their universe vision.

An internal Warner Bros. Discovery meeting was reportedly held on Thursday. During the meeting, CEO David Zaslav formally introduced DC Studios co-chairs James Gunn and Peter Safran to other employees and allowed them to discuss their plans for the future.

The two executives shared that they are currently working on a DC Universe ‘Bible’ that will cover movies, television, animation, gaming, and more. Safran reportedly said, “This was such a unique opportunity to tell one great overarching story. One beautiful big story across film, television gaming, live-action, and animation.”

No timeline was mentioned as to when this Bible would be completed. With the 2023 film slate currently looking to have four films, the two have some time to study what needs to be done.

As to what the big story could be is anyone’s guess. With 80 years of stories to pull from, there are so many villains and storylines they could work towards. We’ll just have to wait and see where the    storyline will take us in the coming years.
