Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has provided a minor update on the state of the DC Universe, and it sounds pretty positive.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zaslav spent a moment addressing the DCU at an RBC event on Tuesday. First and foremost, he said that co-chairs James Gunn and Peter Safran are “coming close to the end” of finishing their bible covering movies, television, and gaming for the foreseeable future. Seeing as the pair only took on their roles beginning on November 1, it sounds as though they already had some strong ideas ready to go.
Zaslav went on to say, “I think over the next few years, you’re going to see a lot of growth and opportunity around DC, there’s not going to be four Batmans.” He went on to add, “And so part of our strategy is drive the hell out of DC, which James and Peter are going to do. I think they’ve thrilled the fans. I think they’re going to thrill you over a period of time.”
When all of these new plans will be revealed to the fans remains to be seen.
