It seems that Warner Bros. will be giving us a bit of an early Christmas gift as Black Adam will be making his way to HBO Max on Dec. 16.
When the HBO Max list for December was released, Black Adam was not included so we weren’t sure when it would be arriving. The service announced the release on Friday, and we only have a week to wait for it now.
This will put it at eight weeks, or 56 days from its theatrical release of Oct. 21, 2022. The industry standard seems to be veering towards 45 days, so this is just about 11 days ‘late,’ but we’ll take it.
Currently, things are seeming somewhat unlikely for a sequel, but that shouldn’t stop you from checking out the film if you haven’t already seen it in the theater. It features our first encounter with members of the JSA on the big screen, and that alone should be enough reason to check it out.
Black Adam will debut on HBO Max on Dec. 16, 2022.
