As fans continue to try to predict what will be happening in the DCU in the coming months and years, it seems that at least Zachary Levi doesn’t think he’s going anywhere.
In response to a fan’s concerns over Levi potentially leaving the DCU in the same way that Henry Cavill recently did, the actor assured him he feels safe.
“Oooh, I really wouldn’t go believing everything you see on the internet. I’m Gucci, Ash. We all Gucci,” said Levi.

Reportedly, Cavill is out of the role of Superman mainly because the plan is for the next film to focus on a younger version of the hero. In the particular case of Shazam!, the role calls for him to be an older man simply due to the way the powers work. Should the character continue past the upcoming Shazam: Fury of the Gods, it feels fairly natural that Levi would continue in the role.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods release is set for March 17, 2023.
