Jim Lee is going to need a larger business card to handle all of his titles as the famous comic artist has just been promoted at DC.
Lee, one of the break-out comic artists of the late 20th century, has re-upped his contract with DC. Along with the new agreement, Lee will be adding the title of “President” to his resume in addition to “Publisher” and “Chief Creative Officer.”
Lee will continue to report to Pam Lifford, Warner Bros. Discovery’s president of global brands, franchises, and experiences.
Despite his additional duties, Lee will focus primarily on his duties as publisher. He will also be attempting to find ways to incorporate DC’s characters across all of WBD’s media and brands.
Lee joined DC in 1998 when the comics publisher bought his Wildstorm studio which had been one of the founding pillars of Image Comics.
No word on how many years Lee’s new agreement is good for as of yet.
