New rumors are indicating that not only is Batman: Arkham Knight receiving an update, but a new suit may be on the way as well.
An update to the Steam Database in Sept. of this year pointed to a new private branch being added to the files called “patch_test.” This has set fans to speculate about what sort of update Rocksteady Studios may be working on for the 2015 game title.
This speculation took a new turn in the early hours of Thursday as Twitter/X user Luke Flux posted what appears to be screenshots of a new Batsuit for the game based on the 2022 film, The Batman.
While there are fan-made suits out in the world, this suit seems to be a bit more in line with the official suits that have been released over the years.
It seems unlikely that this would be the only reason for that new private branch of development, so questions still remain as to what other features we may see appear.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally released on June 23, 2015 and is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will soon be available on the Nintendo Switch via the upcoming Arkham Trilogy collection.
