Hi there! I’m Casper Rudolph (some of you may have seen me posting here as “A comic fan”), and I hail all the way from Holland. I’m a Batman fan first and a writer second. Currently I’m studying English literature/linguistics at the University of Amsterdam, and I’m also Final Editor for Writer’s Block, the university’s student magazine. Besides this, I’ve published a few short stories, I’m working hard on a fantasy novel, I play in a rock band (called The Spoofs), and I read all the Batman comics that I can get my hands on! It’s hard to pick a favorite creator or book (because it really depends on what mood I’m in), but Morrison, Gaiman, King, Snyder, Capullo and Sale are certainly up there.

Batman/Superman #6 review

I mainly disliked the "Secret Six" arc (#1-5) because of the dialogue. It was like the infection just made people talk and behave like...

Detective Comics #1019 review

Here we have the conclusion of Detective’s latest two-issue story: "Dead of Winter." Basically, this is what some would consider filler material, and while...

Detective Comics #1018 review

Detective Comics starts 2020 with a brand new arc, written by Peter Tomasi and illustrated by Scott Godlewski and David Baron. So far, I’ve...

Batman: Last Knight on Earth #3 review

It’s been a while since Last Knight on Earth #2 was released. The first two issues were really solid but, seeing as it’s taken...

Harleen #3 review

I haven’t enjoyed a Harley Quinn story as much as I have enjoyed Harleen since Dini and Timms’ Mad Love. I often find it...
