Ruby Rose was cast as Batwoman for The CW in 2018 and made her debut in the role on Dec. 10, 2018 in the Arrow episode of the Elseworlds crossover.
The CW announced in May 2019 that it had picked up Batwoman as it’s own series for the 2019 – 2020 television season. A premiere date is still be announced.
