OLV is reporting that businesses near Detroit’s Corktown district have received notices stating that a movie will be shooting from August 6th through August 9th around Shelby St from W Larned St to Lafayette and Fort Street from Woodward to Washington Blvd. The letter explains that there won’t be any explosions, but that business owners should expect to see smoke and “fast moving cars”. That movie of course is almost certainly Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has been shooting in Detroit since May.
Could director Zack Snyder be ready to pull the tarp off of the new Batmobile again? We’ve heard rumors that a car chase involving the Batmobile would be shooting this summer… so we could be just a few weeks away from seeing it tear down the streets of Detroit.
