In a recent interview with MTV, The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy was asked if he’d like to return to the DC Comics movie universe. “Of course, I’m Bane! I want to go back”, Hardy replied.
He then told a funny story about being asked who he wanted to win in Batman v Superman. “I would like to hold the pair of them under the water until the bubbles stop,” he joked.
Tom Hardy had a chance to play a role in the new DCEU. He was originally cast in Suicide Squad as Rick Flagg before having to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with another movie. Hopefully he gets another shot at some point down the road.
