This weekend at Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans, producer Bruce Timm gave an update on the animated Batman: The Killing Joke movie that’s coming later this year.
The most interesting piece of news is that the movie will add original story elements on top of the graphic novel. Timm explained that the comic isn’t long enough to make an entire movie out of, so they had to add to the story to beef it up a bit.
Timm also announced that the movie will premiere this July at San Diego Comic-Con, so look for the Blu-ray and DVD to be released early this fall. Check out all of his comments in the video above.
