Just the other day a Batman News reader asked me if Aquaman takes place after Justice League… and today we have the answer!
Cinemablend caught up with DC Films producer Charles Roven at a Wonder Woman event and asked where Aquaman fits in the timeline. Here’s what he had to say:
Aquaman will make reference [to Justice League]. There will be some reference of something that preceded Aquaman that will be in Aquaman. I believe that is the intention.
So while the movie will take place after Justice League and reference that movie, it sounds like there will also be some flashback scenes as well.
Aquaman is currently shooting in Australia. It’s scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018.
