Jennifer Lopez to Warner Bros. President: ‘I need to play a superhero!’

What to Expect When You're Expecting

With about 40 superhero movies coming out between now and 2020, it’s no surprise that just about everyone in Hollywood wants to be a part of them. And why not? They’re usually the biggest movies of the year and have millions of diehard fans. The latest actor to throw their name into the superhero mix is Jennifer Lopez.

“Are we going to see you play a superhero?” E! Online asked Lopez, 45, during an interview for her new movie The Boy Next Door. “That would be awesome,” J.Lo replied. “I don’t know why somebody hasn’t thought about that yet.” Then she looked right into the camera and addressed Greg Silverman, President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production at Warner Bros.. “Greg Silverman—I need to play a superhero!” she playfully shouted.

Do you think there’s a spot on Warner Bros. upcoming DC Comics movie slate for Jennifer Lopez? Is there anyone you’d like to see her play? Maybe she should be the next Catwoman so that she can go toe-to-toe with her ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck! But in all seriousness I’m curious what you think. Let me know in the comments below.
