TooFab caught up with Dark Knight Trilogy star Gary Oldman last Friday at the 7th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts International Awards. When asked who should star in The Batman if Ben Affleck doesn’t end up doing that movie, Oldman had someone in mind.
“I would like to see someone like Joaquin Phoenix play it,” Oldman said.
Phoenix was actually offered the role of Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman, but turned it down. It’s unlikely that he’d join a big superhero movie, but what do you think? Would he make a good Batman? Let me know in the comments below.
