Take a tour of the Comic-Con Museum’s Batman exhibit with Andrew Farago, author of Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond

Comic-Con Museum

Batman was inducted into the Comic-Con Museum’s Character Hall of Fame at San Diego Comic-Con, and it was a party, let me tell you. I was fortunate enough to attend the induction ceremony, where the Museum had tons of great Batman items on display. From film props and costumes to playable video games to not one but two Batmobiles, the installation was both a great tribute to the Dark Knight and a Batman fan’s dream.

I wasn’t the only one who took in the exhibit, though. Andrew Farago, who wrote Insight Editions’ upcoming book Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond, shot a quick video for the publisher where he runs down a few of his favorite items on display.

As a bonus, Insight have also provided a video of Fargao’s full Batman’s Legacy presentation from SDCC, which he also presented at the Comic-Con Museum.  It’s almost an hour long, but he covers so much great material that it’s more than worth it. Farago touches on Batman’s entire history across all mediums throughout the panel, so think of it like a primer for his upcoming book.

Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond will be available on October 22, and can be preordered now.
