A new Pennyworth season 2 trailer has arrived, and it is clear that things are not going well in London.
Epix has released a trailer for season 2 of Pennyworth. When last we saw Alfred (Jack Bannon), he had just saved the queen from an assassination attempt by his own father, and killed him in the process.
It’s clear from the teaser that a decent amount of time has passed, and things have not improved any in England as the Raven Society and No-Name League appear to be nearing an all-out war.
Of anything happening, however, we’re still wondering what’s up with Martha Kane (Emma Paetz)? Is she still feeling the ramifications of whatever happened at Crowley’s mansion in season 1? We’ll just have to wait and find out.
Pennyworth season 2 debuts on Epix on Dec. 13. We loved season 1 and can’t wait to see where this crazy prequel concept goes next.
