Gotham City Sirens series coming in August

After 13 years, the Gotham City Sirens are back! For a little while, that is at least. The original Gotham City Sirens was created by Paul Dini in 2009 and quickly became a cult classic, though ended when DC’s titles were rebooted in 2011 with the New 52. Now, this August, the ongoing comics of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman will be put on hold, and in their place will be a four-part weekly miniseries starring the three of them.

Written by Leah Williams (Power Girl) and drawn by Matteo Lolli (Harley Quinn) and Daniel Hillyard (Image’s Plush) with colors by Triona Farrell (Harley Quinn: Black + White + Redder), Gotham City Sirens will have the criminal trio team up to save their city. When an illegal and dangerous hunting operation sponsored by energy drinks threatens the people and wildlife of Gotham, Selina, Pamela, and Harley are the only ones who can stop them. With appearances by White Rabbit and Punchline, The Sirens will face off against the cowboy henchmen known as the Nasty Boys. This team of Wild West himbos won’t stop until they catch their prey.
