Following up on the Mr. J trailer for Gotham posted earlier in the day, Jeremiah himself, Cameron Monaghan, is back with some new pictures. The new images definitely add to the theory that Ecco (Francesca Root-Dodson), will be his version of Harley Quinn.

The images have a definite Joker & Harley vibe to them, and that final image of Monaghan in shadow with that hat looks like he walked off of a Brian Bolland page from the comics.
This origin would definitely be a detour from the typical Harley origin of her being his doctor in Arkham Asylum, but when it comes to Gotham, nothing goes as it does in the books. We’ll take it and we’ll be good with it.
Gotham season 5 will premiere on Jan. 3, and we have also learned recently that it has received an expanded episode count from 10 to 12. With everything that is being promised to happen, it sounds like they will need it.
