Dark Knight trilogy returning to select theaters for one day

Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy will be showing at Showcase Cinemas in celebration of Batman Day on Sept. 16.

Batman Day is rapidly approaching, and the Showcase Cinemas theater chain is celebrating by bringing back Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy for one day. You’ll be able to see the films on Sept. 16 at all of the chain’s locations.

It has been over 11 years since Nolan closed out his trilogy, which is long enough for there to be a mixture of nostalgia and people who weren’t old enough to see it the first time around. This will be the perfect chance to see the films again or for the first time.

You can choose your theater and purchase tickets by going to the following film-specific pages.

Showcase Cinemas have locations in Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, and Rhode Island.

If you’re unfamiliar with Batman Day, it takes place annually on the third Saturday of September. It’s a chance to celebrate everything related to the Caped Crusader. While this Dark Knight trilogy celebration is only currently happening in four states, we won’t be surprised to see similar events pop up elsewhere.

And with 2023 marking the 30th anniversary of Mask of the Phantasm, we suspect there will be showings of that film as well.

Expect more announcements in the coming weeks for other events.
