The cast of Superman: Legacy has gathered in Atlanta, Georgia for the first table read of the script.
María Gabriela de Faría shared to her Instagram stories a photo of herself in what appears to be a hotel room wearing a Creature Commandos sweatshirt, and simply captioned it “First day,” while also marking her location as Atlanta, Georgia.
James Gunn has also confirmed that there are no cast members at the table read who have not been announced.
He went on to clarify, saying, “No, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t other characters in the film that haven’t been announced. Of course there are more characters. But yes I think all of the actors that will be at the relatively-intimate table read are actors who have been announced.”
The cast is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer.
Filming is slated to begin in March.
Superman: Legacy will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
