Dead Boy Detectives to premiere April 25

Netflix has finally announced a premiere date for Dead Boy Detectives, and we’ll be seeing all eight episodes in April.

Originally scheduled for release on Max, the series was later moved to Netflix. It is set in the same universe as the Sandman TV series because of this, but no word if we will see any crossovers yet..

It’s not entirely clear why there is no DC logo on the trailer, but it has definitely not gone unnoticed by fans.

Meet Edwin Payne (Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Revri), ‘the brains’ and ‘the brawn’ behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together – including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Nelson) and her friend Niko (Kitamura), they are able to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.

Dead Boy Detectives will debut on Netflix on April 25.
