A new casting breakdown has surfaced for season 2 of Titans that certainly sounds Lex Luthor is going to be showing up soon.
According to the breakdown acquired by Geeks WorldWide, the casting call is for a male of any ethnicity between the ages of 30 and 39. Here is how ‘Dax’ – the supposed character’s name – breaks down:
Mercurial and unpredictable, Dax delights in the element of surprise. Awkward and unpopular as a young boy, he insulated himself from others and developed masterful skills of manipulation. This led to a successful career as a criminal, where he had a unique ability to catch the enemy off-guard with his unassuming nature. Having spent many years in prison for his crimes, Dax is thrilled by the opportunity to get back to work and create chaos for his foes.
This certainly sounds like Lex to us.
At Comic-Con this past July, executive producer Geoff Johns teased we would see both Superboy and Lex Luthor eventually. With season 1 ending with Superboy breaking out of CADMUS with Krypto, it certainly makes sense that Lex wouldn’t be far behind.
It’s beginning to sound as though Titans season 2 is going to be quite busy. We know Jericho is on his way as is Deathstroke. Ravager is in the mix as well. Add in Superboy and Lex Luthor and it’s just about going to double the cast depending on how many of these are regulars vs recurring.
Is Trigon even going to be a factor in season 2?
Guess we’ll just have to wait to find out.
