Jason Momoa teases a ‘way bigger’ Aquaman 2

Jason Momoa is a busy man, but he’s never too busy to discuss Aquaman. Appearing at the red carpet premiere of his Apple Plus series, See, Momoa had a lot of projects to discuss, and that included Aquaman 2.

Entertainment Tonight asked Momoa about the film, and he shared, “I went into Warner Bros. and DC and kind of said ‘I have some ideas,’ and they loved them.”

The questioning turned to if it would be a showdown between Aquaman and Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), but Momoa said, “I think there’s a lot more in store. There’s so many more levels.” He was then asked if his borther – Patrick Wilson’s Ovean Master – would return, to which he simply replied, “There’s a lot. It’s way bigger.”

We, of course, have a long time to wait before we see just how much bigger as Aquaman 2 isn’t due to hit theaters until Dec. 22, 2022. Before we even get there there is still supposed to be a Trench movie.

There is a lot going on in the Momoa & Kravitz household right now with Zoe Kravitz having just joined the DC family as Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. It’s certainly going to make for some fun family dinner conversations as they compare notes.
